Aman Announces Amangati’s Inaugural Caribbean Season
Aman – the world’s most exclusive hotel brand – will open a new chapter in ultra-luxury yacht travel as Amangati prepares to embark on its inaugural Caribbean season, following its highly anticipated Mediterranean debut in 2027.
Before crossing the Atlantic, Amangati will launch its maiden Mediterranean season in spring 2027, offering a collection of five- to eight-night voyages along some of Europe’s most celebrated coastlines. The yacht will sail the French and Italian Rivieras, Spain’s historic ports, and Croatia’s dramatic Dalmatian Coast, with select departures timed to coincide with prestigious events including the Cannes Film Festival and the Monaco Grand Prix. One exceptional itinerary will feature a rare sunset passage through Venice’s Grand Canal, while curated shore excursions, cultural experiences, personalized concierge services, and Aman’s signature wellness philosophy will create a seamless connection between life at sea and exploration ashore.
Following its Mediterranean season, Amangati will undertake an exclusive Atlantic crossing before arriving in the Caribbean for a series of five- to eight-night voyages running from November 21, 2027, through January 2, 2028. The Caribbean season will begin in Saint John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, where Amangati will make landfall after completing its Atlantic passage. From there, the ultra-luxury yacht will explore three distinct regions of the Caribbean—the Leeward Islands, Windward Islands, and Dutch Caribbean—with itineraries designed around secluded anchorages, extended stays, and immersive destination experiences rather than traditional cruise schedules. Several departures will coincide with the festive holiday period, culminating in an exclusive New Year’s celebration in Nevis.
In this article:
Discovering the Leeward Islands
Three consecutive sailings will launch Amangati’s Caribbean season through the northern Antilles, combining glamorous island destinations with hidden coves, pristine beaches, and tranquil waters. The itineraries will call at Gustavia in Saint Barthélemy, Saint Kitts and Nevis, and Barbuda, where guests will enjoy a dedicated Marina Day, alongside visits to Jost Van Dyke and Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands, Philipsburg in Sint Maarten, the volcanic island of Saba, Little Bay in Montserrat, and a beach day at Prickly Pear Cay off Anguilla. These voyages will showcase the white-sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and understated sophistication that have made the Leeward Islands one of the Caribbean’s most desirable yachting destinations.
Sailing the Windward Islands
Departing from Saint John’s, Antigua, and Bridgetown, Barbados, Amangati’s Windward Islands itineraries will venture south through some of the Caribbean’s most dramatic landscapes. The voyages will call at Îles des Saintes in Guadeloupe, Portsmouth in Dominica, Anse d’Arlet in Martinique, and Soufrière in Saint Lucia beneath the iconic Pitons, before continuing to Canouan in the Grenadines and Saint George’s in Grenada. Combining volcanic peaks, lush rainforests, secluded bays, and vibrant island culture, these journeys will reveal the extraordinary natural beauty and diverse character of the southern Caribbean.
Exploring the Dutch Caribbean
Amangati’s southern Caribbean sailings will connect Bridgetown with Oranjestad while exploring the celebrated ABC Islands of Aruba, Bonaire, and Curaçao. Guests will discover Bonaire’s protected coral reefs and secluded beaches, experience the colorful UNESCO-listed waterfront of Willemstad, and visit the uninhabited Tobago Cays, one of the Caribbean’s most spectacular marine environments.
A New Year’s Celebration in Nevis
The inaugural Caribbean season will conclude with a special festive voyage featuring a two-night anchorage at a private resort in Nevis. The celebration will offer guests an intimate setting to welcome 2028 surrounded by the beauty and tranquility of one of the Caribbean’s most exclusive islands.
Final Mediterranean Voyages Before the Atlantic Crossing
Before its Caribbean debut, Amangati will complete its inaugural European season with four final Mediterranean voyages. The Aegean Treasures itinerary (October 10–18) will explore the Peloponnese before continuing to Dubrovnik and Kotor. Italian Flavors (October 18–24) will sail from Bari through the Ionian Sea to Sicily, while Coastal Highlights (October 24–November 1) will visit Palermo, Naples, Rome, the Ligurian coast, and the French Riviera. The Mediterranean season will conclude with Western Mediterranean (November 1–8), which will follow Spain’s coastline before arriving in Málaga.
From Málaga, Amangati will embark on a 13-night Atlantic Passage to Antigua, stopping in Cádiz and Ponta Delgada in the Azores before crossing open ocean toward the Caribbean.
Life Onboard Amangati
Named after the Sanskrit phrase for “peaceful motion,” Amangati has been designed to blur the line between a private superyacht and an ultra-luxury resort at sea. Measuring 183 metres (600 feet) in length, the nine-deck vessel will welcome a maximum of just 94 guests, creating one of the highest space-to-guest ratios in luxury yachting. Designed by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design, the yacht also incorporates a hybrid propulsion system with battery technology, delivering quieter, more efficient sailing that aligns with Aman’s understated approach to responsible luxury.
The 47 ocean-facing suites have been conceived as tranquil private residences inspired by the simplicity and harmony of traditional Japanese ryokans. Natural materials, warm timber finishes, 2.5-metre-high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows create bright, calming interiors, while every suite opens onto a private terrace overlooking the sea. At the pinnacle of the accommodation is the expansive Aman Suite, complete with its own private lift, spa and sauna, spacious living and dining areas, and a whirlpool terrace. Every guest will also enjoy the attentive service of a dedicated Suite Host throughout their voyage.
Dining aboard Amangati reflects the same destination-led philosophy as its itineraries. Four signature restaurants will offer distinct culinary experiences, from Mediterranean-inspired cuisine at Alira to refined Japanese dining at Hiori and contemporary washoku at Akari, alongside the open-flame cooking of Aman Grill. Guests can also enjoy casual dining throughout the day, a gelato bar, private in-suite meals, or intimate dinners in a dedicated private dining room.
Wellness remains central to the Aman experience at sea. Spanning two decks, the Aman Spa is set to become the largest in luxury yachting, featuring eight ocean-facing treatment suites, each with its own private terrace and whirlpool. Yoga and meditation spaces, thermal facilities, movement studios and a dedicated beauty lounge complement the spa, creating a holistic wellness sanctuary designed for complete relaxation during the voyage.
Beyond the spa, life aboard unfolds around elegant indoor and outdoor gathering spaces. A 16-metre heated infinity pool anchors the open-air decks, while lounges, bars and an intimate jazz club provide refined spaces to socialize or unwind. When the yacht drops anchor, the Selora Marina transforms into a private waterfront, offering direct access to the sea for paddleboarding, snorkelling, kayaking and excursions aboard sport tenders. Combined with Amangati’s intimate scale and ability to access secluded bays and smaller harbours, these experiences promise a style of luxury cruising that feels closer to a private yacht charter than a traditional cruise.

Pricing
Pricing for a cruise aboard Amangati will reflect the exclusivity, personalized service, and comprehensive experiences that define Aman at Sea. Fares will be charged per suite rather than per guest. Five-night journeys will start at approximately $38,500, while seven-night itineraries may reach $54,600, equating to roughly $7,000 to $8,000 per night for an entry-level suite. Guests will enjoy nearly all aspects of the journey included in the fare, such as:
