Launched in July 2025, Luminara represents the most evolved expression yet of Ritz-Carlton’s vision of bringing the atmosphere and service of a luxury resort to sea. At approximately 241 m (790 ft) long, Luminara is substantially larger than the collection’s original yacht, Evrima, but still carries only 452 guests in 226 suites. Every suite has its own private ocean-view terrace, creating a strong connection with the sea and avoiding the interior cabins found on conventional cruise ships. The yacht also carries around 374 officers and crew, contributing to a highly personalized level of service. Luminara’s interiors are spectacular. The public spaces feel like those of a contemporary five-star hotel, with soaring spaces, striking artwork, floor-to-ceiling windows and a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living. The yacht offers multiple restaurants and bars, sophisticated lounges, expansive pool decks and The Ritz-Carlton Spa.

One of Luminara’s defining features is its connection to the ocean. At the stern, an expansive marina creates direct access to the water, while the yacht’s outdoor spaces include beautiful terraces and swimming pools designed around panoramic sea views. The overall atmosphere is relaxed and residential despite the yacht’s considerable size. Dining is another highlight. Luminara features several distinctive culinary concepts, ranging from Mediterranean-inspired cuisine to Asian flavors and the sophisticated Seta su Luminara, an intimate fine-dining restaurant. The variety and quality of the venues make the culinary experience feel much closer to staying at a world-class resort than sailing aboard a traditional cruise vessel.
