4. Qatar Airways partners with Hans Zimmer for exclusive score

Qatar Airways has unveiled a remarkable partnership with the multiple Oscar and Grammy award-winning composer Hans Zimmer to create a new sonic identity for the airline, featuring a signature sound that will elevate the passenger experience onboard and beyond. 5. Six Senses announces landmark hotel in Bangkok’s Historic Silom District

Six Senses has entered into a management agreement with Narai Hospitality Group to introduce Six Senses Bangkok as part of the new Hatai mixed-use development, located on the historic site of the iconic Narai Hotel in Silom, Bangkok. The original Narai Hotel, which opened in 1968, was a landmark in Thailand’s hospitality scene and a key social and business hub for over 50 years. This new project honors that legacy by combining Six Senses’ commitment to wellness, sustainability, and emotional hospitality with a design inspired by traditional Thai lanterns, created by the award-winning Heatherwick Studio. Six Senses Bangkok will feature around 100 spacious rooms and suites, wellness facilities, and sustainable construction targeting LEED Gold and WELL Gold certifications. The hotel will thoughtfully reuse elements from the original Narai Hotel, incorporating local materials into the interior design to reflect Six Senses’ philosophy. Signature touches include a restaurant designed by Joyce Wang, a rooftop pool, and a Six Senses Spa offering holistic treatments. Now operating as Hyatt Vancouver Downtown Alberni, the 119-room hotel occupies Vancouver’s tallest building and offers panoramic views of the harbor, mountains, and city. Located in the heart of downtown, the hotel blends sophisticated design with luxury amenities and features the Michelin-recommended Carlino restaurant, known for its seasonal northern Italian cuisine. Once rebranded, it will mark the debut of the Park Hyatt brand in Vancouver and strengthen Hyatt’s luxury presence in Canada alongside Park Hyatt Toronto. 10. One&Only will open a hotel in the Hudson Valley, New York

Kerzner International has announced its second U.S. One&Only resort and private residential community, to be developed in partnership with Nolan Reynolds International (NRI) in Hyde Park, Hudson Valley, New York. Set on a 21-acre site within the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) campus, the wellness-focused, ultra-luxury One&Only Hudson Valley Resort will feature 61 cabins, suites, and guest rooms, along with private residences featuring chef’s kitchens. The property will include signature culinary experiences and a Longevity Hub by Clinique La Prairie, blending nature, culture, and wellness in a uniquely American setting. The resort’s design will reflect the rustic charm of the Hudson River Valley, using natural materials to create a harmonious connection with the surrounding landscape. Guests and residents will also have exclusive access to CIA’s fine-dining restaurants, culinary classes, and boot camps, making gastronomy a central part of the experience. This project follows the upcoming One&Only Moonlight Basin opening in Montana (November 2025) and marks Kerzner’s continued U.S. expansion.
