1. &Beyond opens Suyian Lodge in Kenya’s wild north
&Beyond Suyian Lodge has officially opened in Laikipia, Kenya, offering an exclusive, design-driven safari experience on 44,000 acres of private wilderness. Developed in partnership with Space for Giants and owned by the not-for-profit Suyian Conservancy Trust, the project supports community development and long-term conservation goals, offering a rare, crowd-free wildlife experience in northern Kenya. &Beyond, renowned as one of the world’s most exclusive safari operators, continues to set the standard for luxury travel combined with deep conservation ethics. 2. Aman Announces Aman Residences, Bodrum
Aman has announced the development of Aman Residences, Bodrum, introducing exclusive villas for ownership alongside a significant expansion of the existing Amanruya resort, including new spa, beach club, retail, and dining facilities. Located on Bodrum’s tranquil north coast, the project is a collaboration between Denniston Architects and SAOTA, blending elegant design with a deep connection to nature, privacy, and spaciousness. Offering uninterrupted views of the Aegean and access to Aman’s renowned luxury lifestyle, the villas provide a rare opportunity for private ownership in a secluded, village-like retreat just 30 minutes from Milas-Bodrum Airport. This exclusive, invitation-only project reflects Aman’s commitment to the destination and continues its legacy of ultra-luxury branded residences worldwide, with construction beginning this winter in partnership with Turkey’s leading wealth management firm, RePie Asset Management. The development aims to enhance Bodrum’s status as a premier global destination, combining world-class amenities with the brand’s signature intuitive service. 3. The iconic Waldorf Astoria New York reopens
The reopening of the Waldorf Astoria New York marks a triumphant return of one of the world’s most iconic hotels, following a meticulous restoration that honors its storied past while embracing a bold future. Closed since 2017, the hotel reemerges with 375 of Manhattan’s most spacious rooms and suites, alongside restored landmarks like the Grand Ballroom and Peacock Alley, and new culinary destinations such as the kaiseki-inspired Yoshoku and the American brasserie Lex Yard. Legendary design firm Pierre-Yves Rochon, in collaboration with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, has preserved the hotel’s timeless elegance while introducing modern sophistication and luxury. The reimagined Park Avenue Lobby sets the tone for a guest experience rooted in heritage, innovation, and quiet grandeur. Above the hotel, 372 private residences designed by Jean-Louis Deniot offer a new standard for Park Avenue living, supported by the renowned Waldorf Astoria service. As the original flagship of the brand, the Waldorf Astoria New York once again reclaims its place as a beacon of timeless luxury and cultural significance.
