Aguas de Ibiza – The Jewel In The White Isle

Offering guests a luxurious and sophisticated retreat in Ibiza, this resort with its serene whitewashed exterior celebrates the natural beauty and culture of the island. Aguas de Ibiza has become one of the most sought-after hotels in the area since its inception in 2009. Its exceptional amenities include a Peruvian restaurant concept, a huge Clarins spa, an incredible rooftop infinity pool terrace with evening DJ, suites with Feng-Shui-informed design and breathtaking views. Read on for a deep dive into this not to be missed five-star property.

A White Isle Getaway

Designed to blend with the environment on several levels, its styling and architecture incorporate the elements of water, light and nature. A 1000-year-old olive tree stands sentinel at the entrance, while inside, materials such as steel and Ibicencan stone, provide a modern edginess. Delight in choosing your preferred pool among the three captivating options (including an adults-only pool on the rooftop), or embark on a quest to find the perfect vista of the marina and sea, whether it be in the gardens, the rooftop cocktail bar and infinity pool, or your own private terrace.

Santa Eulalia des Riu

This stunning hotel boasts a prime location in Santa Eulalia des Riu, on the Paseo Maritimo, just steps away from the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea and a stroll from the glamorous marina. From here you can see Santa Eulalia Marina and the island of Formentera. It’s an appropriate location for a hotel whose name translates as “Waters of Ibiza”. In addition to the amenities onsite, you’ll find shops, restaurants and bars within a short walk, and the promenade for a post-dinner amble or early morning bike ride.

And it’s well worth exploring a little further afield, with the hotel well placed to visit Ibiza’s towns and villages and a short 20-minute drive (or taxi) to Ibiza Town. if you are heading to Ibiza Town make sure you have lunch at Chambao By The Sea at Talamanca Bay, we discovered this beautiful restaurant on our trip there.

It’s worth noting that while Ibiza has a reputation for being the ultimate party island, Santa Eulalia is extremely chilled and relaxed and a far cry from the hedonistic nightlife you can find at Playa den Bossa and San Antonio. So its ideal if you want to party at night and then come back to peace and serenity afterwards.

Indulgent Escapes

Getting to and from the hotel couldn’t be simpler we booked our stay with Jet2 Indulgent Escapes which offers luxury holidays across Europe. Booking via them provides you with a door-to-door limousine service so once you arrive at Ibiza Airport, they will take you to the hotel and back to the airport at the end of the holiday.

Float on Cloud Nine

So what are your choices when it comes to rooms? Opt for one of 18 Dreamer suites, 39 junior suites, 24 deluxe rooms, nine corner suites, three grand corner suites, 15 Cloud Nine suites and three Cloud Nine corner suites (all with a private terrace and Bang & Olufsen sound systems). Or stay on Cloud Nine, the best room in the house, at the very top. This suite has a 40m2 living room space, two bedrooms and bathrooms and a private terrace with an alfresco tub to enjoy a soak under the stars. All spaces have been designed within the Feng Shui philosophy for total harmony and positive energy flow throughout.

Our Room During Our Stay

During our stay, we had a Premier Bay Room. Modern elements such as copper and limestone walls and stone pebble floors provide a sense of Ibizian style, while the gigantic bathroom with two independent washbasins, a freestanding bathtub, and a separate shower with Molton Brown amenities complete the luxury.
