Cambridge Distillery has released a new gin, just in time for summer. Created with the express intention of being the primary ingredient in a martini, the Three Seasons uses the quintessential elements of an English garden to capture the changing of seasons in a complex and aromatic flavour.
Created as a line of ‘world firsts’, and a product of the ‘Most Innovative Distillery in the World’ (a title that Cambridge Distillery has been awarded three times), The Collection encapsulates a series of ‘world firsts’. Also including the first gin created from insects, the first made from purely Japanese botanicals and the first distilled from white Piedmont truffle, the range now also welcomes Three Seasons.
Three Seasons invites you to experience both the sensory enjoyment of and a chronological journey through the seasons of an English Garden, owing to a blend of traditional spring, summer, and autumn botanicals. Recently awarded the Gold Medal for Best Value at the 2021 China Wine and Spirits Awards, Three Seasons has citrus, floral and earthy notes, offering a novel and exciting twist on an iconic drink.
Of the new release, Master Distiller William Lowe says, ‘Three Seasons allows the drinker to experience our unique natural surroundings wherever they may be… and allows the best of each season to flow past you with every sip’. Each seasonal element, from spring’s lemon verbena to summer’s rose and autumn’s blackcurrant leaf, is individually preserved and distilled before finally being blended altogether, a hallmark of Cambridge Distillery’s distinctive production style. Three Seasons is best served chilled and as part of a classic, dry martini.
Three Seasons is bottled at 45% ABV, priced £90 and is available online, alongside the rest of The Collection, at cambridgedistillery.co.uk.
